In 2008, we decided it would be fun to serve only jams and jellies we made ourselves at Manse Lane. That idea quickly caught fire and now members of the extended Davis clan regularly contribute to the cause. One family elder in her nineties is still making jam for us!

We are so proud to serve these delicious treats to our guests every day - they never fail to earn compliments. Fresh raspberries and gooseberries grow in our gardens and we also seek out strawberries, blueberries, crab apples, blackberries, peaches and pears from local farmers.

We are always on the lookout for great ideas, ingredients and recipes so let us know if you have suggestions. We are happy to learn new tricks and to share our jam-making secrets with you!
