Girls' Getaway
Do you and the girls need some quality time to yourselves? Maybe a weekend of theatre, dinners, antique hunting, with a night cap around the pool? Or perhaps a more athletic weekend of cycling and kayaking? Or some late night billiards and partying at a local pub?
Manse Lane Bed and Breakfast is ideal for a Girls' Getaway. With four rooms and our new Trillium Suite, our B&B is small enough that you can take over the whole house, or just take over the attic (which sleeps five). We can comfortably accommodate from 2 - 12 women.
Our special rates include discounts of up to 10% when you book three or more rooms, 15% if you book the entire house, plus your Girls Getaway organizer will receive a special gift basket for doing all of that coordinating! Are you planning to visit the theatre? Ask for our discounted theatre tickets. Spa services are available at additional charge at the Gananoque Inn and Spa across the street from Manse Lane.
Theatre Getaway
Our one night theatre package includes two adult theatre tickets to the 1000 Islands Playhouse, one night accommodation (with en suite bathroom) and a sumptuous breakfast for two, all for less than you could spend on one theatre ticket in Toronto!

The popular 1000 Islands Playhouse is in its 26th year and is only a five minute walk from Manse Lane. Housing the Springer and Firehall theatres, The 1000 Islands Playhouse is situated on the edge of the St-Lawrence River, boasting spectacular views from its famous balconies and deck. The company stages every kind of production, from drama to musicals, and hosts concerts and art exhibitions as well. Family Reunions
Two decades ago our family started holding family reunions in Gananoque because it was so convenient. Ideally located between Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa, we found the town close enough to each city to make it an easy trip for each branch of our family. Last October our latest family reunion had grown to 23 members!
Manse Lane can accommodate up to 15 adult and children family members; if your group exceeds 15 we can coordinate other B & B's in the neighbourhood so that everyone can have a house of their own.
Manse Lane is the perfect spot to host such an event. Apart from our regular breakfast service, if arranged in advance we can also turn our kitchen over to you so you can prepare your own family dinner with all of the fixins. You can also enjoy our dining room, lounge and outdoor pool and deck. As a special offer, if you book the entire house we will reduce our room rates by 15% and we'll throw in the turkey!
Mothers and Daughters
During the months of May and June, Manse Lane is pleased to offer special prices for Mother and Daughter Getaways. We will reduce your room bill by an amount equal to your daughter's age. That's right! Is your daughter 30? You will receive 30% off the published room rate! There's no catch. It is a great way to bond and a great way to save money. There is no other B & B or hotel that will offer you a better deal. And you get to enjoy all of the features of Manse Lane: breakfast for two, a room with private bathroom, use of the parlour, lounge, and outdoor pool.
Wedding anniversaries
Are you celebrating a wedding anniversary? We are always thrilled to help celebrate wedding anniversaries and are happy to offer a 10% discount to celebrants.
In September and October we make anniversaries a special priority: couples who were married in September or October receive a discount equal to the number of years they have been married. In 2008 we had a couple who were married 51 years and they got 51% off their bill! That's right! 26 years, 26% off the published room rate. 15 years, 15%. That's how it works. We had fun with it in 2008 and we're trying it again in 2009.
