There are five lovely rooms at Manse Lane Bed & Breakfast. Four of the rooms are located on the second floor and the fifth is a third floor suite that sleeps five people.
Our rooms reflect the Victorian charm of this Century home with their tall, double-hung sash windows, extra-wide wooden baseboards and trim, and pretty lace curtains. Some rooms have charming old-style wallpaper while The Barnett Room boasts an ornate foil and flock creation that recalls the grand mansions of the Victorian era.

The Barnett Room (formerly known as the Blue Room)
The Barnett Room, named after local heroine Elizabeth Barnett, is our largest room and has many windows facing both South and West. In fact, the room overlooks the property where Elizabeth Barnett was a tenant! It has a queen size bed, en suite bathroom, antique furniture and a comfortable sitting area by a window. The bathroom features a claw foot bathtub with shower, so you can luxuriate in the bubbles after a long day of fun. Rate: $119-$145

The Trillium Suite
The Trillium Suite is the latest addition to Manse Lane. This newly renovated 3rd floor suite has four beds and en suite bathroom. Ideal for families or for girls' getaway weekends, The Trillium is your own special space. Three of the beds are twins, the master bed is queen size and the bathroom features a claw foot bathtub. Rate: $129-$200

The Rose Room
This our favourite room for single travellers or two friends. The Rose Room features two twin beds and a sink, with a shared bathroom next door. Unabashedly pink, the Rose Room is quiet, comfortable and economical. The Rose Room is also ideal for families with children when combined with the Heather Room next door. If you don't fancy sharing a bathroom with the Heather Room, ask us if it is possible to reserve exclusive use of the bathroom for an additional charge. Rate: $89-$109

The Heather Room
Heather reminds us of our B&B stays in Scotland: cosy, comfortable, private and economical. This year we removed the red shag carpet and discovered lovely maple floors. The room features a queen size bed, an in-room sink and shares the bathroom at the end of the hall with the Rose Room. The Heather Room is ideal for families when combined with The Rose Room next door. Rate: $89-$109

The Balcony Room
Tucked away at the back of the house with a balcony overlooking our backyard is The Balcony Room. This room is a favourite of couples seeking their privacy. Cosy and separate with en suite bathroom/shower, The Balcony Room also features one of our prized possessions: the most hideous bed side lamp in the shape of a bird! Rate: $119-$145
